Willie Mae May, age 83 entered her Heavenly home on Tuesday June 21, 2022. She was born January 29, 1939, in Selma, AL, to James A. and Clora Moore. Willie graduated from J. B. Hudson High School, in Selma AL, and later graduated from Anderson College with a degree in Social Work.
Willie enjoyed going to church, working with children’s ministries, eating, sewing and spending time with family and friends. She was survived by two sons, Barney R. May and Maurice A. May; five daughters, Kenyatta A. Carter, Yolanda E. McCroskey, Malaika A. Bell, TieLasha R. Bumphus, and Staysha N. Arnold; special daughter, Lelia Moore, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, three sisters, Sarah Moore, Margret Moore, and Theresa Moore, one brother, James Moore.
Willie Mae was preceded in death by her parents, husband Billie Joe May Jr., two sons, Kelvin (K.K.) May, Raynard A. May, two Sisters, Rebecca Moore, and Annabelle Anderson, two Brothers, Jesse Moore and Joseph Moore.
