Sirvester Buie Obituary

Sirvester’s life journey began on July 31, 1955  in Benoit, Mississippi born to the late George and Vera House. He departed this life surrounded by his loved ones.

Sirvester attended John Marshall High School where he received a Job Core  Degree majoring in heating and air conditioning. In 1975, Sirvester enlisted in the United States Army. He received his GED and acquired a certificate in Culinary Arts. He was honorably discharged in 1985.

Sirvester was well liked and loved by many.  His hobbies  included  fishing, gardening, horse track , playing cards and spending time with his family.

 His true treasure in life was his family. Sirvester will be sadly missed, but never forgotten by his wife, Christine (Ball) Buie, son, Jimmy Buie, three grandchildren, Andrece Murphy Buie, Jimmie Buie, Jr., and La’Zya Buie, brothers, Charles (Jan) Buie, George (Sherrie) House, Jerry (Chrysanthemum) House, Clint (Keisha) House; sisters, Rosemary Buie, Lou Smith, Carrie (Joe) King, Shandolyn House and Gwendolyn (Bruce) House; brother and sister-in-laws, Della Ball and King Duke, Tina Ball, David “Maine” Nevings, and Tracey Nevings; special friend, Bobby Taylor; other relatives and friends.

Sirvester was preceded in death by his son, Ra’Shawn Teague, parents, Vera and George House, and grandparents, David and Laura Buie.
