Ruthie Mae Boyd

Ruthie Mae “Babysweet” Boyd, age 80, passed away on August 27, 2023, after a brief illness.

She was born on August 30, 1942, to the late Tommie Sr and Lucillie McCullough in Troy, AL.

Ruthie later married the late L.C. Boyd and started their family in Anderson, IN.

Ruthie attended Anderson Community Schools and acquired her GED.  She retired from Guide Lamp (General Motors) after 30 years of service.

Ruthie dedicated her life as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses to help others learn about God’s wonderful promises for the future.

Ruthie leaves to cherish her memory, children: Cheryl (Henry) Porter of Tyler, TX; Lee Charles Boyd Jr of Anderson, IN; Shonda (Thomas) Craig of Indianapolis, IN; Terrill Boyd of Fort Wayne, IN and Bryan Tanner of Norfolk, VA. Sister: Eula Townsend of Anderson, IN. As well as a host of family and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3110 E Cross Street Anderson, IN 46012-9579
