Ralph Dabney Jr.

Ralph Dabney Jr. 

Born January 29, 1951, in Montgomery, AL. He passed away peacefully at his home on March 19, 2022. He attended Montgomery, AL schools and later enrolled in the Job Corps. After completing his training in trade, he relocated to Anderson, IN.  Ralph was born to Ralph and Lulean Dabney. He was the oldest son out of nine children. 

Ralph was a family man who worked hard to provide for his children and family. He retired from General Motors after 31 years of service. He loved cooking, especially for the holidays. He enjoyed fishing, dancing, listening to music, and watching western movies. 

Ralph leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 44 years Teresa Dabney, his sons Raymond, Rodney Dabney (wife Charissa), daughters Rachel and Nia Dabney.   He had fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, brothers; John, Robert Dabney-Anderson, In, George (wife Deborah) Dabney- Montgomery, AL. Sisters; Louise Jones-Anderson, IN, Easter Dabney- Orlando, FL, Rosetta Dabney- Anderson, IN. In Addition to this are a host of loving nephews and nieces, cousins, and friends. 

Ralph is preceded in death by his parents; Ralph and Lulean, sisters Elizabeth Phelan and Mary Steans, son Ralph Donta’, brothers-in-law Harold Steans and Carwon R. Jones, and niece Pamela Turner.
