Patricia Ann Powell

Patricia Ann Jones Powell, age 64 passed away on October 15,2020 after a brief illness.

She was born in Gunnison MS.  She relocated to Anderson IN with her family and graduated from Anderson High School in 1975. She later continued her education at Richland Community College, Decatur, IL and earned a degree in Psychology and Personal Relations in 1993.

Patricia dedicated her life to Christ at an early age and joined Wallace Temple AME Church.

Patricia demonstrated her passion for the gospel through music and often blessed church and family gatherings with her stirring renditions of gospel songs.

Prior to her retirement in 2018, Patricia was employed by the State of Indiana as an administrative assistant. 

Patricia leaves to cherish her memory her children Shakesha N. (Thomas) Wilson-Lane, Albert Bostic (Latacia), and Donte' Powell (Heather).  She is proceeded in death by father Russell Lee Jones Powell, mother Dorothy Dixon Jones, daughter Claudia Wilson, sisters Sidney Lee Jones, and Rene Hood.
