Orlando “Main” Posey, 69 departed this life on September 2, 2020 after a sudden illness. “Main” or Posey as he was known to his family and friends was born Birmingham, AL to Frances P. Posey (Gully)and his Stepfather Edward Gully, Sr. who raised him. He moved to Anderson at an early age and attended Anderson High School where he graduated. He worked at Guide Lamp Division, General Motors for 19 years. All throughout his life he enjoyed working on cars, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. In loving memory, Orlando's is cherished by his children, daughter Shonda M. Posey and Son Orlando (Toni) Posey; siblings, Val T. Page Jr of Birmingham, AL., Calvin Page, Larry Page Sr., Edward (Jan) Gully, Jr., Vanessa (Mark) Boatman, Jerome Gully, Sherry Gully, Terry Gully, and Brenda Gully, aunt, Thelma Posey, uncles, James (Sandra) Posey and Robert Posey; grandchildren, Marvin, Jalen Lewis (Abigail), Jakayla Posey, Nareiyah English, Orlando T. Posey Jr. T.J., Brielle Posey, and Omari Posey; 2 great grandchildren, Marielle McCloud and Marvin McCloud Jr..
He is predeceased by his parents, Val Posey and Frances P. Gully, step-father, Edward Gully Sr., Grandparents, Bradford and Prince Ola Posey, aunt Dorothy Jean Lewis.
