Ola Mae McNeal Obituary
Ola Mae McNeal age 83 went home to be with Lord on July 31, 2020, after a brief illness. She was born November 9, 1936 in Talladega, AL. Ola graduated from Westside High School, in Talladega, AL, then moved here to Anderson, IN, where she was employed by Guide Lamp Automotive, Division of GM and was a member of Union UAW 663. Ola also enjoyed cooking for her family, manicuring her lawn and working for the Lord as a member of Sherman Street Church of God.
She leaves to cherish her memories, Sheiletha (Vincent) Smith, Brownsburg, IN, Bruce (Yvonne) McNeal, of Country Club Hills, IL, Tina McNeal-Barnes, Paula McNeal-Love of Loves Park, IL, Henry (Kia) McNeal of Haines City, FL and special Companion Cody (Pet). Ola is also survived by a host of grand, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Pauline Thornton, sister, Mary Brown and brother, Clarence Thornton and daughter, Natara McNeal.
Services will be held at L.C. May Funeral Services 2024 Madison, Ave. Saturday, Aug. 8, Visitation will begin at 11am. Rev. Ragan B. Mitchell Senior Pastor of Sherman Street Church of God will be delivering the eulogy. Internment will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
