Marquise Miguel Welch, the son of Neely Welch and the late Brenda Robinson was born in Anderson, Indiana on January 12, 1982.
Mr. Marquise attended Anderson Public schools and graduated from Highland High School in 2000. Mr. Welch received an Associates Degree from Ivy Technical Community College of Indiana. He was employed for as a Maintenance Mechanic at Eli Lilly.
Mr. Marquise professed a hope in Christ at an early age. Marquise, along with his family, recently attended Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. The family was baptized at Celebration Church Arrow Heights, Anderson Indiana. Marquise drew his strength during his battle from his hope and faith in Christ.
Mr. Marquise married the love of his life, Tanquetta, on July 24, 2016 bringing to this union Miguel, Tanyuel and Ju’el.
Miguel, as he was loving known by his family and friends, loved spending time with his family. He especially loved training his children in basketball. Miguel loved traveling, cooking, playing video games and fixing things around the house. The family will definitely miss him being a jokester.
Mr. Marquise Welch went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by family, at 7:00 pm on Sunday, April 4, 2021 in Indianapolis, Indiana at the age of 39 years and 2 months. He was preceded in death by his mother Brenda Robinson, grandparents, Doris Welch and Norris Welch and his aunt Jannie Ferrell.
Mr. Marquise Welch leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Tanquetta Welch; sons, Miguel Welch and Ju’el Welch; daughter, Tanyuel Welch; father, Neely Welch(Cassandra); granddaughter, Leilani Anderson; brother, Winston Welch; sisters, Marty Ball, Morgan Welch, Halle Welch, Sherece Upton(Mike), Sissy Smith(Tyrone), Brenda Lane, Alexis Anderson(Da’monche), India Haywood and Lawrenda Haywood; grandparents, Ezekiel and Shirley Robinson; mother-in-law Anita Elmore; father-in-law, Harrison Turner; sister-in-law, Kwana Evans(Arron); brother-in-laws, Damon Turner and Lamar Turner and a host of other relatives and friends.
