Lisa Jennings

Lisa Jennings, 58, was born June 12, 1964, and went home to be with the Lord January 14.  She was the daughter to the late Jesse L. and Ruth E. (Jordan) Jennings.  Lisa was a 1982 graduate of Madison Heights High School and during her working years she was employed with various factories and also as a Cook. Her favorite colors were red and black.

Lisa attended Christ Temple Apostolic Church and enjoyed listening to gospel music, especially Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin, Jazz, R&B, Mariah Carey, Luther Vandross and the Isley Brothers. She also enjoyed crocheting, watching movies, playing word games, reading and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents Nathaniel Jordan, Rose Roberts Jordan, Rachel Jennings and Zema Jennings. Uncles Robert Hood Sr., Freddie L. Barnett, George Jordan, James Jordan and Joe Williams Sr. Aunts Cornelia “Connie” J. Warren, Ella Hood, Annie Williams, Mary Barnett and Mary Hill Jordan.

Lisa leaves to cherish her memory seven children, TaMarius, Jazmor, TaMyia, JaKiahy, T’Andre, JeVerico and Ti’Ovey. Brother Tony Jordan and his daughter, Terra TaNyce Givens Jordan. Companion of 20+ years Michael Looper. Aunt Sheila Jordan of Kankakee, Illinois. Uncles J.C. Jackson of Chicago, Illinois and Carlos Jordan of Kankakee, Illinois and best friend Pam Currie of Marion, Indiana along with a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
