John Henry Logan, Sr. went home to be with the Lord on March 27, 2021 at Countyside Manor in Anderson, IN after an extended battle with Cancer.
He was born a twin on September 7, 1955 in Money, Mississippi to Dan Logan Sr. and Katherine Johnson Logan Gillespie.
He enjoyed entertaining Friends and Family at the “Happy Tree” where he served and entertained people of all walks of life. Everyone was invited to his annual birthday cookout for him and his twin John Larry. He was dynamite on the grill. He was a thoughtful, loving and giving man, father, brother, son and friend. John Henry also loved sports and playing cards. He will be truly missed by all.
John Henry worked at Delco Remy but retired from Firestone in Noblesville, IN.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, sons: John “Mingy” (Nitrala) Logan, Jr.; Amir Brown Logan; daughter; Katina (Dominique) Logan. 5 grandchildren: Monique (Taryn) Whighum, Scott “Dougie” Nelson, Jr; Tamarje’ “TJ” English, Trinity Logan and Niy’Aylla Taylor. Brothers: John Larry his twin and Bruce (Vicky) Logan.; sisters: Mary Logan Harrison, Teresa (Perry) Wilson; Betty Logan Shaw; sister-in-law, Otha Logan. Special Niece: Ashley Logan. Special son: Desmond Owens. Special Nephew Lazarus T. White, II. Special Daughters: Ra’shia Nance and Uri Fuller. There are many more nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss him greatly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dan Logan Sr., brothers: Dan and Robert Logan; Sister: Kery L. Logan and special son Montez (Tez) McCloud.
