ANDERSON — Frances P. Gully, 88, was called to her heavenly home on Dec. 7, 2019, after extended illness. "Tootsie" as she was affectionately called by those that knew and loved her, was born on April 17, 1931, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Bradford and Prince Ola (Davenport)Posey. She moved to Anderson at anearlyagewhereshebecame a member of Anderson Zion BaptistChurchundertheleadership of her uncle, the Rev. James T. Menifee. She later joined Friendship Missionary Baptist Church under Rev. Dr. EdgarWoodall. FrancesretiredfromGeneralMotorsGuideLampdivision after 22 years of service. She was a member of United AutoworkersLocal663. Frances had a natural talent formusicandsingingwhowas a member of the Faith Gospel Singers, Starlight gospel singers and North Central Indiana Mass Choir where she receivedmanyawards.
