Dorothy L. Morris

Dorothy L Morris went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 6th, 2023. She was born to the union of Ardell and Elizabeth Sanders on June 28th, 1934, in Cairo, IL. 
Dorothy was raised in Muncie, IN, where she gave her life to the Lord at Union Missionary Baptist Church, Dorothy was married to the love of her life for 41 years, before he passed on. After giving her life to Christ, she went on to become a ministering woman of God, a prayer warrior and in 2007, she became the Pastor of New Jerusalem Full Gospel Church after the death of her husband and founding Pastor Aaron Morris. 
Her jobs included working in the Muncie and Anderson hospitals, and also in the Anderson school cafeterias, from where she retired. 
Leaving to cherish her memory, 2 sisters, Murdell (Richard) Winston of Bradenton, Fl, Lorraine Wright of Glendale, AZ, Nieces, Julie Ross, Mary (Richard) Taylor, Elizabeth (Kevin) Woodgett, all of Muncie, Tamika Roberson, Indianapolis, IN. Nephews, Jason (Angie) Walker, Damon Walker, Scotty (Cathy) Walker, Ronald (Char) Hawkins, all of Muncie, Charles {Sarah) Sanders Jr, Columbus, OH and Jeffrey 
(Tamra) Walker of Dallas, GA, and Errol Carter of Philadelphia, PA.   A special God-Daughter, Bettie (David) May, Anderson, IN. She also leaves her New Jerusalem Church family, the ladies that are in her prayer group and others that she has built a relationship with. 
Preceding Dorothy in death is her husband Aaron, her son, Leroy, her parents Ardell and Elizabeth Sanders, brother Charles Sanders Sr. sister, Alma Jean Walker and 3 nephews.
