Connie R. Davis

Connie (Constance) R Davis was born on December 17, 1946, to Russell and Bertha L. (Streaty) Davis, in Anderson, Indiana. She passed away peacefully on April 2, 2024.

Connie attended Anderson Community Schools, graduating in 1964 from Anderson High School. She participated in various youth groups during these years. Connie was a lifetime member of New Hope United Methodist Church. She was employed at Community Hospital and retired from Delco-Remy in 1991. She attended IVY Tech and was a lifelong member of UAW 662. She enjoyed 60’s music, reading, poetry and flowers but was best known for her family cookouts on 11th Street.

Connie is survived by her children, Dana Bass and Rasuli Newman. Grand children, David Williams, Jordan and Quinton Glover, and 11 great-grandchildren. Also, brothers, Ronald (Francis) Davis, Mark (Eileen) Davis, Kevin (Felicia) Jennings, Craig (Lori) Jennings, sisters Linda Davis, and Michelle (William) Thayer, Step-Mother Donna Davis, and a host of family and friends, including Special friends, Vernella Williams and Carolyn Johnson.

Connie was preceded in death, by her parents Russell Davis and Bertha L. Streaty, brothers Russell and Roy Davis, stepsister Adrian Dixon, grandsons Antonio Williams and Quinton Glover Jr.

The family extends gratitude to the staff of Greenfield Healthcare Center, Gentiva Hospice, and L.C. May funeral Services.

Services will be Live Streamed day of service.
