Alisha Monique Brooks, 35, transitioned from this life on April 15, 2026, at Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center following a brief illness. She was born on January 29, 1991, to the late Bruce Brooks, Sr. and Susan Michelle Coates-Brooks in Anderson, Indiana.
Alisha was a 2009 graduate of Lake Highland High School in Richardson, Texas.
Alisha’s employment included Warehouse Shipping and Receiving; she enjoyed cooking, reading, going to a local park and most of all spending time with her five beautiful children. Alisha leaves to cherish her loving memory, mother Susan Michelle Brooks; children Aniyah Michelle Clark, Kaiden Brooks, Arianna Bingham, Kamryn Ambrose and Kordae Ambrose. Siblings Bruce Brooks Jr., Brycin Brooks and Andrius Brooks; uncles Clifton Brooks, James Eddy Brooks and Ulysses (Tammy) Jackson; aunts Cathy (Robert) Coleman, Marie Young, Lori Coates, Marianne Coates, Maribeth Coates, Jennifer Coates, Lisa Watson, Verna (William) Kelly, Priscilla Jackson, Marie Hood and Belinda Hood; step-grandmother Anna Brooks. Nieces Jayla Jones, Bailey Brooks and Jliza Brooks; nephews Brycin Brooks Jr. and Bruce Brooks III and great nephew Robert Guyton, Jr. Along with several other family members and friends. Alisha was preceded in death by her father Bruce Brooks Sr.; sister Chanielle Brooks; grandparents Betty Ann Hunt, Felix Brooks Jr., Bobby and Agnes Coates; aunts Andrea Coates and Geneva Arlene Gordon and uncles Doug Brooks and Mike Brooks.
