Karen Demetra Goodvine

Karen D. Goodvine 57, born May 13, 1966, to William & Verna Goodvine in Muncie, IN., Karen was the Eldest of 4 Children.

Karen attended School in Muncie and Graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1984. She then further her education and received her BS Degree and her master's degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in Social Work. Karen worked for the State of Indiana, retiring after 20+ years of service due to her Health. Karen LOVED working with people, she infused EVERYONE she met with the LOVE of CHRIST, so that others may learn about the Power of our GOD.  She wanted that to be everyone Greatest mission. Karen WWJD every hurdle in her life.  In her mind there were only two greater callings in life, they were serving GOD and her Family (Church and Tribe of Judah Daycare).

Karen was a PROUD member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, which she LOVED Dearly, when asked what’s her FAVORITE color……. Well Ya’ll already know, Royal Blue & White.

Karen was a Dedicated & Faithful member of New Jerusalem Full Gospel Church in Anderson, IN. She served as a Cheerful Greeter and a Passionate Usher.  Anyone that encounter Karen would always feel special & LOVED.  Karen made it her Ministry to send an encouraging message to just about EVERYONE in her phone and she would end the message with I LOVE YOU, and she also responded I LOVE YOU MORE.  Karen was known by her Beautiful Spirit and her Beautiful Bright Smile. 

Karen Favorite scripture was Ps. 91 and her Favorite song was “I Won’t Complain” which is so fitting for her character, she did not complain.

Karen leaves to cherish her memory, her Parents William & Verna Goodvine, two sisters Tina Goodvine and Denise Morrow of Muncie, IN.  One brother William (Shalonda) Goodvine of Indianapolis, IN. 3 Nieces, MeLisa Goodvine, Emiri Goodvine of Carrollton, TX, and Chrisma Benning of Muncie, IN. 5 Nephews, Williard, William lll, Edward, Aaron Goodvine of Indianapolis, IN, and Destin Benning, Muncie, IN. 2 Great Nephew Nicholas  Jackson Jr, Noa  Jackson,  of Muncie, IN., One Great niece Navaya Jackson Muncie and a host of Loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and  Friends including the Sista Girl Girlfriend’s Sista hood group and her SPECIAL Big Sister/Friend Bettie(David) May, and her Cousin/Sister Brenda (Bill) Robinson.
